The Graduate Nurse Program is designed for graduate Registered and Enrolled Nurses who want to consolidate their knowledge in a General Health setting in WA's largest health teaching environment.

The Royal Perth Hospital / Graylands Hospital Program is designed for graduate Registered Nurses who want to consolidate their knowledge in General and Mental Health. As one rotation is in a mental health setting, applicants must have Division 1 Comprehensive Nursing Registration.
This program includes a one-week orientation at the beginning of each rotation. It includes study days at Royal Perth Hospital, plus five professional development days at Graylands Hospital.

Pre-requisite
Applicants must be eligible for Comprehensive or General Nursing Registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia. Evidence of registration must be provided before you commence any of these programs.
The 24 month Graduate Nurse Program is designed to provide a strong grounding in medical, surgical, tertiary rehabilitation or mental health areas during the first year. This is followed by an opportunity to continue in more specialised and critical care areas during the 2nd year of our Graduate Nurse Program. As the needs of the graduate nurse evolves so does the RPH program, with dynamic initiatives that offer our graduates the best in clinical experience and educational opportunity.
During the second 12 months of the program we offer placements at both our Perth City and Shenton Park campuses in a variety of general and specialty settings.
Advertisements are placed on the website and in the West Australian newspaper in April and September each year.
