RN Career Development Program

"Learning Today...Leading Tomorrow"

The Registered Nurse Career Development Program is aimed at current RPH nursing staff from Level 1 - 3rd year Registered Nurses to Level 2 nurses. The aim is to develop nursing leaders for the future.

The course revolves around 3 main themes:

  • Education on a range of professional development subjects including
  • Leadership Development, Understanding Management Systems and People Management over a 12 month period
  • Mentorship with an experienced nurse leader
  • Succession planning where participants explore opportunities to develop skills into exciting new roles

The course aims to provide support and resources to assist and encourage motivated and enthusiastic nurses employed at RPH to achieve their full potential.
