The Stroke/Neurology specialty receives patients from a number of avenues, primarily patients are acute admissions via emergency department and some from intensive care.
The Stroke unit is recognised internationally for the contributions made towards Stroke research and is the largest funded unit in the state, with a reputation of excellence in care.
