The Medical Oncology Clinic is a multi purpose treatment area for day case admissions for administration of drugs and cytotoxics, infusions and blood products.
Nurses need to be able to cannulate and scalp vein and venous/arterial access devices skills are required.
The country Nurse Program provides educational resource material in the care and administration of cytotoxics and patient education.
The clinic is involved in a variety of clinical trials.
